Drivers wanted to join our Community Connection transportation team! Driving with Smith Center General Public Transportation provides the opportunity to enhance the lives and increase the mobility of residents in our Smith County communities by providing transportation for employment, medical appointments, and other daily needs. With transportation needs being met daily within Smith Center, throughout Smith County, as well as surrounding communities such as Kearney, Hastings, Franklin, Red Cloud, Phillipsburg and more, the need to expand from two transit vans to three is now necessary in order to accommodate our passengers with the best possible service.

Position Open "Clerk of the Board of Education" Qualifications for the position include.... 1. High School diploma, 2. Job experience as a board clerk preferred and or experience as a school secretary within a District comparable size to a Kansas 1-2A school. 3. Experience using applications to include Adobe, Excel, Word, PowerPoint among others to prepare documents, correspondence, spreadsheets, and reports to assist the superintendent and board members 4. Experience and the ability to communicate and give responses both in writing and verbally. 5. Being responsible for the District Payroll, KPERS and Insurance policies. 6. Such slternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
